A 40 hour advanced course designed to train law enforcement firearms instructors in advanced firearm/handgun instructing and shooting skills. Students should already be state certiied instructors. Content will cover the following: advanced understanding of biomechanical functionality, using proper body mechanics and ergonomics when shooting, developing synaptic memory during training and then executing physical functions in high-stress situations, proper upper body joint manipulation and positioning for predictable control of recoil energy, proper draw sequence from Level II & III duty holsters, reducing the time during reloading sequences, shooting while in an injured or partially incapacitated state, and developing proper instructional and practical delivery techniques.
