The primary focus of the class will be to familiarize students with 1546 of the Penal Code. Students will be shown not only how to write complex search warrants, but more importantly, to evaluate each of the warrant types as an investigative technique to determine which warrants are best to use in various situations. Students will be taken, step by step, through the fundamentals of search warrant writing.
